Need Help?  Just Ask!

Although we’re not Dear Abby, each of us needs help at times.  Perhaps it’s just a means of venting your frustrations…sometimes, you need guidance and direction to handle the twists and turns of life.  Having another pair of eyes, or in this case, ears, can prove useful.

That’s what this section is devoted to.  We have a small team of researchers and experts in various fields at our disposal.  Email your question or problem to us in as brief a format as you can.  You will get an answer usually within 24-48 hours.

We do not respond to questions of a medical, technical, legal, or sexual nature (romance, yes).

Through a quirk of fate, our phone number is nearly identical to the TBN Television Ministry and we routinely get 25 calls a week on average from their viewers.  Instead of hanging up on them, we began providing answers to their problems…many routinely contact us again for helpful advice.

This is a free service but your donations are always welcome!

Question of the Week

Q:  Our family is concerned about germs in the kitchen due to an illness among our youngest child.  Someone mentioned it's good enough to clean your sponges and pads...what else can I do?    --Margaret, MI

A:  Your microwave is a powerful tool in protecting the family against germs. A recent study shows zapping sponges & plastic scrubbies in your microwave can kill bacteria.  Most bacteria can be knocked out in two minutes - better than your dishwasher!  Make certain your pads and sponges have no metal parts and they should be wet when placed in the microwave.
